This wonderful church is one of the oldest and oldest churches in the state of Tamil Nadu, and the history of the church dates back to the nineteenth century, and the construction of it was ordered by the British governor of the region, as he wanted an exclusive church for the British, and its construction was completed in the year 1829 coinciding with the birthday of King George IV, who opened it. In the twentieth century, apartheid ended and became a church for all races.
