The history of the appearance of the Monastery of St. Nicholas is associated with the construction of a church in Mogilev in honor of St. Nicholas, and the first mention of the church dates back to 1522 AD, where the records of the days indicate that the temple was rebuilt several times, and it was robbed, and finally, a great fire that occurred in the city left no trace of the church wooden. With the passage of time, the monastery was restored by skilled architects in the city, and it became an architectural art museum, containing the tombs of important religious figures, and today it is home to many nuns.
