St. Michael's Church, located on Collins Street, was originally called the Collins Street Independent Church. This church was first built in 1839, and is considered one of the first churches in Victoria, and it was destroyed in 1866, with the aim of building a larger church in the same place, which was designed by Joseph Reed, who also designed the Royal Gallery Building. This church is distinguished by its Lombard architecture, its multicolored exterior bricks, and its Romanesque arches. It also hosts many diverse seminars, and you can also listen to the amazing church choir, which presents the most beautiful and perfect musical performances.
