St. Anne's Column is located on Maria Theresian Street and near the city center. It is a monument erected in 1703 AD to celebrate the end of the Spanish Caliphate, the exit of the Bavarian forces from the country and the liberation of Tyrol on St. Anne's Day. It has a distinctive design of red marble decorated with elaborate decorations surrounded by statues 4 saints, as surmounted by the statue of the Virgin Mary.
