The Spree Forest Reserve is located in Lubinau, and it covers an area of about 475,000 hectares. It is a biosphere reserve. The area includes a group of rare plants, trees and animals that need protection. Therefore, it was officially classified as a nature reserve by UNESCO in 1991. Here you can enjoy the picturesque nature and see more than 5,000 species of rare plants and animals such as frogs and sea eagles, and plants such as rosemary and cranberries.
