The salt lake is located north of the city of Nyerghaza and enjoys a wonderful atmosphere and a distinctive climate. Its area is approximately 9.5 acres, and its depth reaches two and a half meters. It extends towards the city, and the northern part of it represents a boating lake. The lake water is wonderful with a concentration of sodium salt and cichloride content.
