One of the largest and most famous parks in Gothenburg, it occupies 137 hectares (one hectare equals 10,000 square metres) of green space and relaxing gardens. It is full of rolling lawns, paths weaving between trees, and thickets of linden, oak and beech. If you need to entertain yourself on a morning run, this is the place to go. Adventure courses, mini golf, and other sports facilities are also available. In addition, it is a wonderful zoo, as it houses many animals, such as deer, penguins, ducks, horses, goats, beautiful peacocks, little squirrels, seals and others.
