This wonderful landmark is located just a short walk away, from the city's historic Haga (Haga) district. It offers a glimpse into Swedish history, as well as sweeping views of the city. Built in 1697, the castle was built to defend threats from the southern region. The building also served as a prison, a private residence during the nineteenth century, and as a military museum in the twentieth century. Today, the site houses a restaurant and conference center.
