Information about Sirul Canonicilor
The aisle is actually an architectural complex of 10 buildings in a line. It was built in multiple stages over a hundred years, the first building is said to have been built between 1753 and 1758, and the last in 1875, it was built to house the clergy of the diocese and, despite its architectural distinction, some can detect differences in shape and size in the windows, reflecting a coherent whole with the portico supported by massive columns and Bohemian ceilings. The dominant style on this corridor is Baroque, but some specialists assert that it has more to do with the classical folk architecture of Transylvania, and this corridor includes 57 arches that create the illusion of an endless line.
