One of the most important Hindu temples located in the northeastern side of Padangbai Bay in eastern Bali is the Celukti Temple dating back to the eleventh century and is a place rich in cultural traditions dedicated to the spiritual leader Mpu Kuturan, who was responsible for introducing the caste system in Bali.
