The Shubra Museum Palace was established in 1995 in a historical building that was built in 1904 in the city of Taif. The palace was a residence for the royal family in the city before it was opened as a historical museum. In which the Roman and Islamic character is mixed with some of the traditional architectural styles of the Hejaz region at the time. The museum consists of a basement that rises four floors above it, in addition to some external accessories and gardens, and includes 150 rooms containing archaeological exhibits.
