The Mausoleum of Our Lady of Ponaria, also known as the Shrine of "Our Lady of the Winds", is a title associated with the Virgin Mary as star of the sea and patroness of sailboats in Sardinia, where the Virgin is depicted holding the Christ Child standing beside a golden sailboat and holding a candle in her right hand as patroness of the island. The shrine is considered the Roman Catholic shrine to the Blessed Virgin Mary in Cagliari. The mausoleum is surrounded by a number of other buildings that make up the shrine, including the Church of Our Lady of Bonaria, the Archaeological Reserve of Our Lady of Bonaria, a basilica, and a Catholic monastery.
