The Sheikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa Mosque, also known as the “Great Mosque or the North Mosque,” is located on Sheikh Abdullah Street in the Muharraq market. It was founded in the early nineteenth century AD, commissioned by Sheikh Muhammad bin Jamaan, and then rebuilt by Sheikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa. 1892 AD. It is a large mosque consisting of two floors, with a total area of about 2013 square meters, and a capacity for about 3,050 men and 235 women.
