Information about Serranos Towers
Located in the old town of Valencia, the Cyranos Towers, or what is known as the Cyranos Gate, is one of the twelve gates that formed part of the old city wall, which was built in the Valencian Gothic style at the end of the fourteenth century. These towers are famous for their beautiful views of the city and its river. Built to defend the city, it was used as a prison for nobles between 1586 and 1887.
