The Seoul Olympic Museum of Art was established to commemorate the 1988 Olympics in Seoul and promote the Olympic spirit. The museum is located within the Olympic Park, which is a multi-purpose space and a mixture of a garden and a sports center, and provides various types of information related to sports, culture, business and the Olympic Games, and consists of five Major areas, each with a theme dedicated to different aspects of the Seoul Olympics, and visitors can participate in the museum's various educational activities and programs.
