Attracting history buffs, hiking enthusiasts, and anyone looking to get a little off the beaten path in Busan, Seokbulsa Temple is no ordinary Korean temple, built on the sides of the sandstone cliffs of Mt. Geumjongsan; The tallest mountain in Busan, it features magnificent Buddhist reliefs carved into the cliff walls. This temple is relatively small, and you will probably only spend about 30 minutes or less exploring it, but with the walk leading up to it, it makes for a great half-day trip from the city center.
