The village of Simbalon is located in a valley near Mount Rinjani. During the trip to the village, you will pass by a group of green rice fields and tropical gardens, while the village is filled with many agricultural crops, as the volcano gives the surrounding areas fertile soil. A visit to the village is an important experience to learn about the culture in the area and the local people as well. The village also contains some ancient ruins in addition to an archaeological cemetery.
