The Salamat Datang Monument, built in 1962 by the famous Indonesian sculptor Edhi Sunarso, is located in central Jakarta, and is one of the most important historical monuments in Jakarta. This beautiful monument, about five meters high, depicts two bronze statues of a man and a woman waving with welcoming gestures, and the woman is shown holding a bouquet of flowers in her left hand.
