The Seattle Museum of Art is a distinguished art museum, with three main facilities, its main museum in downtown Seattle, the Seattle Museum of Asian Art, located in Volunteer Park on Capitol Hill, and the Olympic Sculpture Garden, overlooking Seattle's Central Waterfront, which opened in January 20, 2007. The museum's collection has grown from 1,926 objects in 1933, to nearly 25,000 objects in 2008, in an area of 29,000 square metres, which includes sculptures, and various paintings. The museum's library has also expanded from about 1,400 books to 33,252. This makes it a place rich in art and culture, where you can roam, enjoy watching the picturesque works of art, or study and research.
