The Sassnitz Fishing and Harbor Museum aims to present the history of Sassnitz as a fishing town and showcase ferry and boat traffic and marine tourism. It is located in the former medical service wing of the port transportation system of the city. It was opened in 1996, and its most important and largest exhibit is the "Havel" ship, which is located On the sidewalk opposite the museum, visitors are given a professional guided tour to get acquainted with the working and living conditions of fishermen. Working devices and fishing tools that were used at that time, including fisheries, nets, and electronic devices such as echo sounder, radar, DECA and VHF are on display.
