Built in the 1700s, the parish of Santa Prisca de Taxco has a legendary past, a luxurious facade, and great archaeological value. It is considered one of the most beautiful and impressive examples of Baroque architecture in Mexico, as well as a carved altar covered with fine gold pieces.
