The Sanctuary of Truth may be the most famous building in Pattaya. Its impressive 105-meter-high structure is entirely carved from teak wood, and is an architectural structure unique in the whole world, it is neither a temple nor a palace, although it looks like a mixture of Monday, it was designed in 1981 by a local businessman as a place to appreciate philosophy, art, culture and faith without being tied to one religion. This sanctuary is perhaps best described as a "monument of Thai craftsmanship." With its stunningly detailed carvings of elephants, humans, scenes, creatures and deities from mythology, its structure reflects the ancient vision of the land, ancient knowledge and Eastern philosophy.
