The history of the Church of Saint Salvador dates back to the middle of the fourteenth century, during the period of the spread of the plague (the Black Death), and at that time it was believed that the heights were capable of keeping the disease away. The church was built at an altitude of 509 meters above sea level, and the monastery was completely restored in the eighteenth century. Inside the church there is a Gothic altar and many religious paintings. Music and light shows are also held inside, and a winding path leads to the church, which is located on the top of a hill with a wonderful panoramic view. The church is open daily between 7.00 and 20.00. Mass is celebrated on Sunday at 18:00.
