Information about San Carlo Theatre
It is a new theater in the city of Naples, built in a larger size, to replace the old dilapidated theater that was built in 1621 AD. It was destroyed by fire in 1816 AD, and rebuilt within ten months at the king's request. In 1845 there was additional renovation work, and the internal appearance of the theater changed to the traditional red and gold color that still exists today, as it is being carefully restored to retain its former splendor, and the Teatro di San Carlo is the oldest theater still operating in Europe It presents theatrical performances filled with art, dance and singing, in the presence of the most famous international and local Italian artists and other emerging artists.
