Large numbers of tourists visit this museum annually to learn about the ancient history of Samsun. The museum includes rooms dedicated to learning about the historical, social and economic development of Samsun in chronological order. These rooms contain tools, antiquities and weapons used in ancient wars, in addition to candle statues that add another dimension to the experience. It has a small shop where you can buy small gifts, as well as a café in the outside garden of the museum to buy coffee and tea .
