Sambadrome Marquês de Sapucaí is a famous parade area in Rio de Janeiro, built in 1983 to host the famous Rio Carnival, and today it hosts many local and international festivals and events, where the area accommodates nearly 90,000 people, and is famous for the performances of samba schools that present Annually during the Rio Carnival, and in 2016 the arena hosted a number of games at the Summer Olympics, including archery and athletics.
