This majestic palace is located in the heart of Thrissur. It was initially built in the year 1759, but through the ages some European elements have been added, because the British and Dutch colonists made it their headquarters. The city's municipality converted the palace into a museum in 2005. The main structure of the palace is characterized by its thick roofs and walls, spacious rooms and Italian marble floors.
