Saklikent National Park was established in 1996 AD. It is a distinctive natural park that includes a valley estimated to be about 300 m deep and 18 km long, making it one of the deepest areas in the world. The valley was formed due to the erosion of rocks during the flow of water in it over thousands of years. Today, the park is considered one of the most beautiful natural areas in Fethiye at all, where the colors of nature mix from blue, green and brown to form a wonderful painting.
