The Saint Petersburg Mosque, when it opened in 1913, was the largest mosque in Europe outside of Turkey, with its minarets 49 meters high and 39 meters dome. It is located in the center of Saint Petersburg and can accommodate up to five thousand worshipers. This mosque has wonderful designs inside and out, and is filled with Islamic decorations and inscriptions, and its construction includes colored marble, predominantly blue.
