St. Nicholas Church, or Serbian Greek Orthodox Church, designed by János Povolni in the late Baroque style, was built in 1799 in the late Baroque style, renovated in 1979, and now functions as a church and museum on a hill next to the historic center of Eger. Its interior is distinguished from other Baroque churches in Eger, and the main attraction inside is the Baroque and Late Baroque wall of icons, which depicts Saint Nicholas, the apostles, saints and prophets.
