Consecrated in honor of Saint Nicholas in 1897, this Greek-Catholic church located near Nyirghaza Town Hall is built in the mixed Byzantine style, and is distinguished by its stained-glass windows depicting Christ, and its covered altar, ethereal and almost entirely ornate. In 1991, Pope Saint John Paul II visited the Bishops' Palace, which was built opposite the church in 1909 and belongs to it in the Art Nouveau style.
