St. George’s Church is a temple that symbolizes the shrine, and it is also a symbol of unity between the Byzantine East and the Latin West. It is a Greek Catholic church that was transferred to the Greek Catholic community in the city of Lviv in 1817. It was basically the monastery of St. Basil, and the church is distinguished by the way it was built by German engineer Bernard Merten. It enjoys a strategic geographic location due to its proximity to the city center and the commercial markets. In the church from the outside, there are four chapels with small basins under the ceiling.
