The Basilica of Saint Alphonse is located on the Rue de Capucin, next to the Theater Square in Luxembourg City. It was built in the early second half of the nineteenth century in the same place as the former chapel. It is mainly characterized by a neo-Romanesque style, although it can also be observed It has some neo-Gothic features, and this church is a historical edifice worth visiting, especially to feel the calm atmosphere that prevails in the place and enjoy the effects of the gentle lights created by the daylight coming through the stained-glass windows.
