The Sailor Home Museum is the oldest surviving wooden building in Oulu, which is located in the idyllic Bekisari area near the center of Oulu. The museum takes its visitors on a journey back in time to see how sailors and their families used to live in the sea city of Oulu, where visitors will be able to see the sailors' equipment, clothes and all their belongings. The sailors' past life is interesting to both locals and tourists. To get to the museum, all you have to do is cross the pedestrian bridge from Oulu Market Square.
