The Roman Catholic Church of the Sacred Heart was built in the early 20th century by the Gorals (an ethnic group mainly found in southern Poland and northern Slovakia), and has a distinctive Zakopane architectural style. This church consists of a large hall with colored windows and includes a wooden altar, and enjoys its spiritual atmosphere that brings comfort and relaxation.
