Founded with the aim of recreation and promoting interest in wildlife and conservation education, Saanane National Park can be reached by boat from Mwanza, the smallest national park in East Africa. It is located on a small and beautiful island in Lake Victoria, and is home to a large group of animals such as donkeys. Wildlife, monkeys, porcupines, crocodiles, elephants and about 44 species of birds and others.
