Rustaveli National Historic Theater is located in the capital, Tbilisi, on Rustaveli Street , and is one of the largest and oldest theaters in Georgia. Building The theater is a huge and ornate building in the Rococo style. It was founded in 1887 and was called the Artists Association at that time. Since 1921, it has been named after the national poet of Georgia Rustaveli. It is a really wonderful place, and it is large and accommodates a large number of attendees (1200 people), and contains a lot of paintings that adorn its walls, and includes ballrooms and halls designated for conferences and events.
