The Russian Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity was the first place of worship for the Orthodox Christian religion in Latin America, located in the San Telmo area in the green and quiet park of Lezama, but during the nineteenth century, the escalations of immigrants from Russia and Greece intensified. And the Baltic states to make Argentina their home, so they needed a place of worship and they persuaded Emperor Alexander II to issue a decree to establish a church for the Orthodox Christian faith, and accordingly this church was built to meet their religious purposes.
