The historic park is located on a hill north of Naples. It forms part of a large group of Crown lands, which were known as "royal sites". It is a large garden attached to the royal palace. The park has been designed with engineering ingenuity and is centered around five main roads, with a total area of 134 hectares. In 1833, the garden area was developed in the style of English landscaping, and now contains many areas and paths filled with trees in which you can wander away from the noise of the city.
