The Royal Mausoleum of Mauritania is located on the road between the city of Algiers and the city of Tipasa. It is the tomb in which the ruler of Numidia and Mauritania and his wife (the daughter of Cleopatra) are buried. It is also considered part of the Roman ruins in the city. It is one of the most important historical destinations in Tipasa and is called the Tomb of the Roumieh. This mausoleum, which is 16 meters high, appears circular and has four large doors.
