Risnjak Park is a huge national park that spans over an area of 63.5 square kilometres. The park is located in a majestic mountainous area with dense forests. Although the park occupies only a small area in relation to the huge area of Croatia, but it is possible to find a very diverse species of plants, this area is the point where the areas of coastal and continental vegetation meet, and it is covered with a mixture of beech and fir trees that grow on the stone limestone and dolomite. In the park, you can practice many activities such as climbing, camping, going on long and short hiking trails, and many more.
