The archaeological site of Risco Caido is located in a vast mountainous area in the center of the island of Gran Canaria, and includes cliffs, valleys and volcanic formations in a landscape rich in biodiversity. These caves also include alcoves for worship and two sacred temples in which seasonal ceremonies were held, and these temples are believed to be associated with the worship of the stars and the earth.
