Located in a 14-hectare urban park, the Wildlife Rescue Center aims to restore and protect Costa Rica's biodiversity by rehabilitating wildlife, working to breed endangered species, conserving habitats and providing care for affected animals, and is home to the largest group of bird species in America. Latin and more than 125 species of animals that were rescued such as sloths, monkeys, jaguars, tapirs, birds, reptiles and other animals that are placed in large areas planted with natural plants that provide a suitable quality of life for the animals.
