Rainbow Village is located in Nantun County, Taichung City, Taiwan. There, the streets are decorated with a rainbow-like color palette. The most beautiful in the story is that the paintings were not a team effort, but rather the personal work of an 87-year-old old man named Huangfu. ; He is a retired Taiwanese soldier, and one of the few who settled in the government housing he was granted during military service. Fu succeeded in salvaging his 40-year-old home after the Taiwan government decided to demolish the entire area, to make way for new homes and a more modern housing complex.
