Quinta da Ribaveria or Solar de Ribavria or Solar de Ribavria was commissioned in 1541 by Gaspar Gonçalves on Laurel's farm, and it became a fine example of Manolin or late Portuguese Gothic civil architecture. The highlight of this majestic building is the 17th-century tower , in addition to the densely forested park surrounding it, and after several years of abandonment, it opened its doors to visitors on May 1, 2015, and has since presented a variety of cultural, sports and entertainment offerings.
