Queen Sirikit Park was established in 1992 AD and was named after Queen Sirikit to celebrate her 60th birthday. Today, it is one of the city's attractions, due to its wonderful features, including water fountains, long walking paths and ponds in which beautiful lotus flowers bloom, in addition to embracing a large group of plants such as palm trees, hibiscus, water lilies, coconuts, bamboo and other ordinary species.
