The Quartz Towers are the most prominent examples of Gothic architecture in the charming city of Valencia, and they were built as defensive gates to fortify the city wall of Valencia in the fifteenth century, and Napoleon's forces prevented the advance in 1808 during the period of independence against the French, and the ruins can still be seen that Cannonballs left them on the towers to this day.
