Poztzer Nature Reserve is one of the largest in Hungary. It is distinguished by its diverse and picturesque landscapes, including the floodplains on the right side of the Tisza River. It extends over an area of five thousand hectares. It is an internationally recognized wetland in accordance with the Ramsar Convention.
