This museum displays treasures from the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, including the Owenite treasure and paintings by Henri Blé. The museum is housed in an 18th century aristocratic mansion. Among the masterpieces on display - the oldest dating back to the 12th century - visitors will find: the Owenite treasure, the statue of the Virgin and Christ the Child in the Cradle, paintings by ancient artists, sculptures and more. The museum also publishes many scientific and popular works including monographs, guides for visitors, and exploratory pamphlets.
