Formerly a private garden of the bourgeoisie in Nantes, the Bruce Garden today has the charm of London gardens, with a wide variety of trees, some hundreds of years old. The trees in France are equal in size to those of the southeastern United States, and in the spring, the garden is beautifully decorated with azaleas and camellias.
